Botswana
Botswana has been a member of the International Labour Organisation since 1978 and is Africa’s longest continuous multi-party democracy. Today, the country receives support from the ILO in the creation of sustainable employment, particularly for young women and men, improved social protection and conditions of work for all, and for supporting effective labour market governance institutions and practices.
