Background

The first phase of the ACCEL Africa project aimed to eliminate child labour in Africa by focusing on supply chains in Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Malawi, Mali, Nigeria, and Uganda. The project had four key areas: improving public policy, empowering communities, building partnerships, and conducting continuous research, all with a focus on gender equality.

To track the project's progress, the ILO used a Comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy (CMES). This strategy helped learn from the project, strengthen local stakeholders' abilities in evidence-based evaluation, and included detailed tracking and reporting systems. The final evaluation, done by independent consultants, focused on accountability and learning, ensuring the project's impact was thoroughly documented.

To promote the findings of the evaluations and foster knowledge sharing, we are seeking a designer to create engaging and informative visual materials that will effectively communicate the evaluation results to a broad audience. These materials will play a crucial role in disseminating lessons learned and best practices, ultimately supporting the ongoing efforts to eliminate child labour in Africa.

For more information, refer to the downloadable Terms of Reference.
