Uganda
Uganda has been a member of the ILO since 1963. Since then, the ILO has supported the country through numerous initiatives aimed at promoting decent work and enhancing labour standards. These efforts focus on strengthening national policies related to employment, social protection, workers' rights, and ensuring that they align with international labour standards. Through various programs and partnerships, the ILO assists its constituents in Uganda in overcoming its unique challenges in order to achieve sustainable economic growth and social development.
